Purpose
The Beaufort Sea Partnership is a forum that provides interested parties the opportunity to discuss mutual interests, goals, and responsibilities. This forum was created as a space for partners to collaborate while in alignment with the Oceans Action Plan (now replaced by the Oceans Protection Plan) and the Inuvialuit Final Agreement.

In Canada’s oceans, integrated management planning involves rightsholders and stakeholders, working together to promote economic development and support strong communities, while maintaining a healthy marine environment.
