Initiatives

To ensure that activities occurring in the Anguniaqvia Niqiqyuam Marine Protected Area (AN MPA) are consistent with the Conservation Objectives, the AN MPA Regulations require the submission of an activity plan for proposed scientific research and monitoring and educational and commercial marine tourism activities. The full requirements of the activity plan are outlined in Section 9 of the Anguniaqvia Niqiqyuam Marine Protected Areas Regulations.

Please contact the MPA Management Team at ANMPA@DFO-MPO.gc.ca for a copy of the activity forms. Completed forms can be sent a minimum of 60 days prior to the proposed activity to ANMPA@DFO-MPO.gc.ca to allow sufficient time for AN MPA Working Group review and Ministerial approval.
