Beaufort Sea Partnership

Beaufort Sea Partnership (BSP) acts as the primary forum for stakeholder engagement in integrated ocean management of the Beaufort Sea Large Ocean Management Area (LOMA), with broad stakeholder representation from 54 different organizations. It is comprised of regional level representatives and has an open membership, which means that any interested organization can join, if they are approved by the RCC.  The BSP builds on work done by the Working Groups, considers questions formulated by the RCC, and makes recommendations to the RCC. The BSP also acts as a network to identify new collaborative opportunities and to prevent duplication of efforts by raising awareness of current and upcoming initiatives in the Beaufort Sea.
